The Breisgau Business Park is centrally located in the border triangle of Germany, France and Switzerland and is directly connected to the regional and national transport network via the A5, Hartheim / Heitersheim junction.

Inland port

The port of Mulhouse-Rhine is just a few kilometres from the Breisgau Business Park. It is the third largest inland port in France.

The port of Mulhouse-Rhine comprises three port sites:

Ottmarsheim, the large industrial port on the Grand Canal d’Alsace, located in the heart of the Mulhouse-Rhine industrial area. Huningue on the Rhine in the immediate vicinity of Basel and the port of Ile Napoléon in turn is located at the gates of the city of Mulhouse on the Rhine-Rhone Canal. It is directly connected to the North Sea seaports and covers a total area of 84 hectares.

In addition, the Breisgau Business Park has its own industrial track to the Rhine Valley line of the Deutsche Bahn. The connection to the Rhine Valley line of the Deutsche Bahn (Mannheim – Basel/Konstanz) is via the Heitersheim junction.

The photovoltaic system in the Breisgau Business Park has a size of 4.8 ha and has been in operation since 2007. Consisting of two metering fields, this generated 1,554,947.50 kWh of electricity in 2020 and 1,513,301 kWh in 2021. This can supply around 380 single-family homes …

The special landing field is approved for business and sport aircraft up to 20 t. With a good mix of business and leisure flight operations, the Bremgarten special landing field has established itself in the region in recent years.
